Elisa King Elisa King received her BFA and MFA in Dance from the University of California at Irvine, where she studied with Eugene Loring and Antony Tudor. She has danced with a wide variety of choreographers, including Doug Varone, Peter Sparling and Gerald Otte. Ms. King is the artistic director of Epode, Inc./Elisa King & Dancers and has been a member of Zvi Gotheiner and Dancers since 1987. She has been a faculty member of the LaGuardia Dance Department since 1981. She was a longtime faculty member of the Martha Graham Center of Contemporary Dance, and has also taught at Peridance Center, the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center and Ballet Hispanico. Ms. King has also been a guest teacher in Brazil and Canada. Her choreography, featuring La Guardia dance majors, is on permanent exhibit at the American Museum of Natural History.
